Our cats are with fosterers in Dilham (2 pens), Hemsby (2 pens), Bacton (4 pens), Hethersett (2 pens) and North Walsham (1 pen). Our preferred method of contact is by telephone.

The branch is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who are dedicated to making the lives of cats and kittens in our area better. Every penny we raise goes directly on the cats in our care, including the vets' bills and future events.

We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home cats and kittens, currently looked after by our fosterers in our outside pens. In an emergency we can also foster kittens in the home of one of our volunteers in North Walsham. Before our cats and kittens are homed they have had a health check at our vets, are vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and micro-chipped and neutered (if old enough). We are committed to finding loving new homes for all our cats and kittens, however long it takes, and we never put a healthy cat to sleep.

All inquiries for cats (either for taking in or offering a home) should be made direct to 01692 535858 or by using the “Contact Us” form. However, our preferred method of contact is by telephone, as if contact is made online it may lead to delay in responding. We do have an answer phone so please leave a message if Stephanie our Coordinator is not available to take your call; please include your name and telephone number in the message. Please do not call this number overnight or early in the morning, as the phone is situated in the home of a volunteer and not in a staffed office building.

Our priority is to find loving new homes for our cats. We do charge an Adoption Fee of £85 per cat for kittens under 6 months of age and £65 for cats over 6 months.

The adoption fee has risen recently, regretfully, but each cat is vet checked, vaccinated, and microchipped before becoming ready for adoption and they are also neutered/spayed if old enough. Kittens are a minimum of 9 weeks old before being ready for adoption. Every cat leaves our care with 4 weeks of free insurance with Pet Plan, which the new owner may continue, should they choose to do so.

Our current cats for homing are featured on the Adopt a Cat page. For full details of these, or more, cats waiting for new loving homes or ring the number quoted above to talk to Stephanie about giving a cat a home. Although the website is updated regularly we may have other cats which would suit your needs that are not featured on there, so if you cannot see the “cat for you”, please give us a call.

Please remember to make a note of the name of the cat(s) you are interested in before calling Stephanie.
